Chowder Under the Stars

Case 45 · Hard

Puffin Rock Observatory marked the autumn equinox with a cozy potluck under the stars. Mr. Inchcombe, the station cook, had promised his legendary fish chowder and refused to share the recipe with anyone, not even Ada Quill. Biscuit had tried shameless begging, without success. Mr. Inchcombe was found dead, with the lamp lying nearby. Whoever had the lamp did it.
