Apples, Cider and Audits

Case 46 · Hard

Cider Pressing Day at Applecross Farm had something for everyone: hayrides, caramel apples and a pie contest judged by Biscuit's nose alone. Mrs. Hopwood, a tax inspector, had come to ask some awkward questions about the farm's accounts. She was not there for the pie. Mrs. Hopwood was found dead in the Parlour. Only one suspect was in the Parlour, and that suspect did it.
