The Old Mill

The old mill was grinding flour again for the first time in a century. The engineer who restored it was found dead.

New clue: Corner squares. The four corner squares are A1, the top-right, the bottom-left and the bottom-right of the whole plan.

The victim: the restoration engineer. Took the last square, alone with the murderer.

Biscuit’s hints

How to play
  1. One person per row and one per column, the victim included.
  2. People stand only on open squares (the map key shows which). Anything else blocks the square.
  3. Every clue is true.
  4. The victim took the last square: the row and column left over.
  5. Exactly one suspect was in the victim’s room, and that suspect did it.
