Seal Cove Boatyard

Seal Cove Boatyard held its open day each June, when wooden vessels gleamed with fresh varnish and buyers came from far and wide. Mrs. Dalton, a visiting buyer with a keen eye and a deep purse, had her heart set on a blue sloop and would not take no for an answer. She never signed the papers. Mrs. Dalton was found dead before sunset. Ada Quill whistled for Biscuit. The hunt is on.

The victim: Mrs. Dalton, a visiting buyer.
