Gullhaven Library

Gullhaven Library was celebrating its hundredth birthday with bunting, lemon cake and a lecture on the town's smuggling days. Miss Oakley, a visiting historian, was the guest speaker, and she had promised a surprising new discovery about Gullhaven's past. The chairs were set out and the audience waited, but the lecture never began. Miss Oakley was found dead before her opening line. Ada Quill wants to know who was in that room.

The victim: Miss Oakley, a visiting historian.
