Overdue at Tock & Sons

Case 56 · Expert

A hundred years of ticking deserved a party, so Tock & Sons, Clockmakers, ordered a cake shaped like a grandfather clock and invited half of Gullhaven. Mr. Kirkby, a debt collector, had not been invited. He came anyway, talking loudly about unpaid bills and refusing cake. Mr. Kirkby was found dead in the Parlour. Only one suspect was in the Parlour, and that suspect did it.
