A Fine Grind at the Old Mill

Case 25 · Medium

Visitors to the flour fair at the Old Mill could grind their own and buy a warm loaf, and most did both. Mr. Veitch, the heir's agent, had come from the city to look the property over and ask many questions about its value. Biscuit sneezed into the flour and turned briefly white. Mr. Veitch was found dead, with the scales lying nearby. Whoever had the scales did it.
