Full Steam Astern

Case 2 · Easy

A hundred summers old and still paddling, the Paddle Steamer Marigold marked her birthday with a moonlit cruise around the bay, a brass band and paper lanterns. Mrs. Sedgwick, a wealthy passenger, had paid handsomely for the trip, mostly to be admired. Biscuit spent the evening admiring the seagulls instead. Mrs. Sedgwick was found dead in the Galley. Only one suspect was in the Galley, and that suspect did it.
